Simply Draw at the Museum

Simply is a startup that develops products designed to help people explore their creativity and develop new creative hobbies at home. From piano and guitar to singing and drawing, Simply combines the expertise of educators and creators with advanced visual and audio recogntion to make learning feel simple, engaging and accessible. Today, its products are used by millions of learners around the world.
With Simply Draw, visitors can learn to draw through clear, interactive, step-by-step guidance. Choose a work from the museum’s collection or an illustration from the Simply Draw library, and use it as a starting point for your own creation.
No previous drawing experience is needed. The experience is designed to encourage curiosity, experimentation and personal expression - helping each participant turn inspiration into something uniquely their own. The drawings created as part of the activity will become part of an evolving digital installation displayed at the museum.
At the heart of the project is a simple idea: creativity is something we all have, and something we can develop. With the right guidance, tools and space to experiment, anyone can discover new creative abilities and build the confidence to use them.

Where art meets technology
Simply Draw was designed to give children a safe, playful digital environment while keeping the creative experience firmly rooted in the physical world.
Rather than drawing on a screen, children learn real drawing and sketching skills with pencil and paper in hand. Through approachable, step-by-step lessons and warm, encouraging guidance, they explore techniques such as shading, texture and perspective, while developing their own creative voice along the way.
