Illustration and Collage: Tiny and Large-Scale Paper Worlds / A Weekly Hands-On Workshop / For Ages 9–12 (in Hebrew)
Led by Leia Muslow
Over the course of four days, participants will immerse themselves in the world of paper, material, and imagination. Throughout the workshop, we will visit the Museum exhibitions, draw inspiration from them, and create. Participants will explore the visual language of paper and relationships of scale in space through processes of disassembly and reconstruction: beginning with handmade textures and magazine collages, continuing with the creation of micro-worlds inside matchboxes inspired by the exhibition Beyond Small / Miniature Worlds in Contemporary Art, and culminating in a multilayered paper theater inspired by the exhibition Playing with Scale. On our journey of observation and discovery we will learn how simple forms and encounters between materials can generate new realities. The workshop will conclude with the curation and presentation of the works in a festive final exhibition bringing together all the worlds created throughout the week.
