Catalogue Launch Event Anne Simin Shitrit: Malachi (In Hebrew)

Join us for a special evening celebrating the launch of the artist’s book accompanying the exhibition Anne Simin Shitrit: Malachi with the exhibition curator Sophia Berry and the artist

The publication brings together images from the exhibition alongside biographical materials and additional photographs from Shitrit’s broader body of work.

First published on the occasion of Shitrit’s graduation exhibition at the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2023, the book attracted considerable attention. To coincide with her exhibition at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Shitrit has produced a new edition.

During the event, exhibition curator Sofia Berry will be in conversation with the artist about the process of selecting the works included in the publication and about the relationship between the printed book and the exhibition format, exploring the possibilities and limitations of each medium.
