Tamar Harpaz and Asaf Hazan: Till I end my song

Tamar Harpaz and Asaf Hazan, Till I end my song (detail), 2018

In their joint exhibition, artist Tamar Harpaz and composer Asaf Hazan examine the possibility of creating sound in a vacuum. Sound waves pass through objects that seem to be floating in space; upon hitting an object they activate it into an unseen vibration and it becomes a black box. The movement in the exhibition reconstructs this encounter that involves trauma and announce the moment of acknowledging what is lost and forgotten.

The exhibition was made possible through the generosity of the Hagit Lalo née Shtriet Memorial Fund and courtesy of Sommer Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv; Artis; the Ostrovsky Family Fund.
