Encounters in Edvard Munch's Space

Vampire, 1895 (1902)

While Edvard Munch's prints are an independent unit in terms of quality and quantity, their substance and images enhance awareness to the replicating character of his art. The exhibition re-convenes an acquaintance with familiar images and associates them with versions by Munch's contemporaries as well as with references to his images interwoven into the works of Orit Hofshi, Michal Heiman and Shai Zurim.

All prints at the exhibition are a gift from Charles and Evelyn Kramer, New York, through the American Friends of The Tel Aviv Museum of Art
