David Tartakover. The Exhibition

David Tartakover (b. 1944, Israel Prize for Design, 2002) has been collecting images and texts from all junctions of Israeli culture and current affairs for decades, harnessing them to constructing gaping reality images that are swept away into the 1967 watershed. The exhibition presents posters made in response to cultural processes and current affairs alongside drawings and work diaries revealing thoughts, frames of reference, formulation of images and ideas at work.
