24 frames per second

The exhibition 24 Frames per Second features a collection of short animation works from the past decade, selected from hundreds of films by Israeli animators. These independent, non-commercial and non-commissioned films have been presented in renowned animation festivals in Israel and overseas.

The films are presented in six thematic compilations: Hollow Land: social or political films that focus on Israeli reality; Joints: abstract or experimental works; A Way of Being: tales of mental struggles, internal or real life-changing journeys; Fledge: coming-of-age narratives whose protagonists are children or youths; Journey Birds: docu-animation films on various topics; and Puzzle, a compilation of films suitable for children, to be screened on Saturdays.

Gallery talks, encounters with artists and workshops are held through the support of the Makor Foundation for Israeli Films.
