Special event to mark the closing of the exhibition Judy Chicago: What If Women Ruled the World? (in Hebrew)
Judy Chicago’s participatory work (born 1939, USA) opened a space for a new imagination and invited the audience to ask: If women ruled the world—what would God look like? Would gentleness and strength be part of everyone’s human experience? What place would private property have, and how would we relate to the Earth? Would older women be valued equally, and would true equality in parenting and society exist?
Throughout the three months of the exhibition, Judy Chicago invited the audience to respond to questions under the title “What If Women Ruled the World?” and to add their voices to a changing and evolving artwork.
The closing event invites visitors to join the project’s concluding moment: speakers will offer brief and original answers to Chicago’s questions, and together they will form a picture of thought and imagination.
