Trailer >

An extraordinary master of color and a brilliant entrepreneur (innovative both in painting composition and in how to sell it), Titian (Tiziano Vecellio) became the official painter of the Serenissima—Venice—and an artist sought after by the richest and most influential courts in Europe. His innovative art, expressed, among other things, in his bold use of colors and light—"an explosion of light", in the words of one of the art experts appearing in the film—influenced art for hundreds of years to come. The film also features contemporary artists, such as Jeff Koons, who provide a contemporary perspective on Titian. This is an opportunity to see his breathtaking works in detail on the big screen.

In collaboration with the EPOS Festival.
