Virtual encounter by Zoom / Burning Pain, Burning Earth: The Israeli Art Collection of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art
Due to the current national security situation, the Museum will be closed to the public, and all activities in physical spaces are postponed until further notice.
We are all going through extremely trying times. In a bid to help, however modestly, we continue to offer, for the second week running, an hour of respite, by providing captivating lectures and encounters every day, free of charge, via Zoom.
We invite you, the culture-loving public, to enjoy an hour of curiosity.
We wish everyone days of peace.

Burning Pain, Burning Earth: The Israeli Art Collection of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art / Lecturer: Dalit Matatyahu, Senior Curator of Israeli Art
The collection of Israeli art at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art tells the story of the local art scene— with all its facets, and all the aspirations and disillusions reflected in them. At the meeting, the collection exhibition, Material Imagination: Center of Gravity, will be presented, which examines the essence of artistic creation in Israel through the four classic elements: earth, air, water, and fire. We will look at the scorched earth and find comfort in flowing streams and the bright light of the sun.
Note: This activity is in Hebrew only
